Do you want a jacket that is worth the money to invest? Well, The North Face Snowboard Jacket is money well spent. The rapport is unbelievably overwhelmingly repetitive. Everyone seems to have the same views comfortable, durable, lightweight, warm, breathable and waterproof. It can be worn for casual wear to camping wear. The descriptions given obviously outline that. As it comes highly recommended from yes, I will purchase a North Face Jacket again to yes, I would definitely recommend a North Face Snowboard Jacket to a friend. Wow! Enough said I am sold.
But than again I keep searching as I am a sceptic or a cautious consumer. Through my thorough research on the World Wide Web on various reviews (Epinions, Buzzillions) about the North Face Jacket I have found a flaw or two. One of those flaws is; the North Face Jacket is not great for windy days as the wind will pass on through. The other one is; the North Face Jacket it does not have enough pockets. Hmmmmmmmmm?????? LetÃs see, it is lightweight so by putting on a wind breaker underneath that will stop the wind from coming through. Problem solved. Not enough pockets? My common sense response would be: for casual wear, what is it that you plan on carrying with you? Identification? Money? Those would be a couple of items that comes to mind. How many pockets do you need in a North Face Jacket? Camping......again how many pockets would you need? When I think of camping, the first thing that comes to mind is a backpack, as a backpack is supposed to carry everything that you would require for personal use. Heck even hiking, a backpack is what is used to carry your supplies. Again, how many pockets would you really need in a jacket? Two? Three at most would be enough in a North Face Jacket.
My research has proven to me that the North Face Jacket is a great product to buy. I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends. As it can be worn three out of the four seasons. The North Face Jacket is definitely money well spent. Nice, warm and fuzzy. The fleece jacket is the best on the market. It washes well and air dries quickly. Does not fit snugly and can be layered. What more can I say? Other than this product sells itself just by the reviews alone.
We all know Burton is one the most recognized and well respected brands in snowboard equipment and apparel. Is it any wonder their jackets are also so well received? After a good deal of research and my own personal experiences as well, the verdict is in: Burton Jackets rock.
As with many other clothiers, Burton doesn't just have a couple of jackets in their arsenal. The snowboard culture requires a little creativity when it comes to their gear and Burton certainly steps up to the plate. The designs range from the minimalistic to the outright bizarre. A jacket for every person and personality, you might say. The features and strengths are just as diverse. From women's jackets made to resemble petty coats and business outerwear, to more sturdy offerings that include multi liner inserts and gortex, there are simply so many choices at your disposal.
One of Burton's latest offerings is the "Defender" Snowboard jacket for men. This particular jacket offers micro fleece linings, as well as tapered seams with "Gore-Seam." While this jacket may not be the most appropriate offering for casual wear, it makes up for this with great durability, exceptional warmth and great resistance to wind - which one should expect from a snowboard jacket, in my humble opinion.
But with every silver lining, a cloud is present. The cloud in this case would be the less-than-breathable fabric of the jacket, and the absence of pockets (not totally of course, but in this age of Blackberry's and iPhones, at least a few would do). In defence of the overall shortage of pockets, at least the ones that are present are very easy to access. The most common complaint though, would seem to be with the very micro fleece lining that makes this jacket so exceptionally warm and wind resistant. The lining itself doesn't zip into the jacket, which makes one have to perform a very awkward "double zip" when wearing the two pieces together - which would be most of the time considering the conditions the jacket is designed for. Although this is quite bothersome, the lining is quite stylish for casual wear on its own I must say.
The pros certainly outweigh the cons, and remember that this is only one of a plethora of jackets Burton produces. Make it a point to check out the Burton website to find some retailers near you. Once you have located your local Burton outfitter, read some reviews and find the best fit for you. With the number of offerings alone, I am certain one will be the perfect fit. Pun completely intended.
Burton is one the most recognized and well known brands in the industry of snowboard and ski equipment. One of their products is the binding, which is what keeps your boot attached to your board. They offer models for the intermediate to the advanced skier. The binding has cush padding, lightweight polycarbonate baseplate, which offers comfort and dependability. Prices are competitive with great quality. The Burton bindings are very strong and take a long time to wear down with proper care. Most importantly they offer a lifetime baseplate warranty.
The Burton website is very comprehensive and offers a parts breakdown (excellent for trying to figure out the exact piece that may need to be replaced if required) if parts get broken or missing. You can easily call the toll free number or e-mail their customers service to request the part that you need. Or you may also check with your local distributor as Burton being such a well known brand, chances are they may have the parts you require. The Burton binding comes in small, medium and large. The Burton website provides what size fits for each model.
The Burton binding is easy to put on even with large gloves and believe it or not you can even adjust the buckle while manoeuvring down hill. Another reason for someone who is just starting out to the experienced snowboard / skier to buy and try for the very first time. We all want equipment that is easy to use and friendly when doing something we quite enjoy. We want to be able to have fun with our friends with no hang ups. The binder is light weight which helps you enjoy the ride cautiously or for those who enjoy the rush of speed. They work great on the snow or powder. The binder highback are easy to adjust to a slight lean forward to a bit further.
There are several websites (a quick google search will point you in the right direction) that offer reviews on this product in comparison to other brands. The rapport on the Burton binding is unbelievable and come highly recommended. For those who are just starting out in the snowboard and ski world, Burton is one of the products that I would definitely try first as I can see there are many people who agree with what I have written here.
